When U.S. Marine Logan Thibault finds a photograph of an attractive young
woman half buried in the dirt during his third tour of duty in Iraq, his first
inclination is to toss it. Instead, he brings it back to the base for someone to
claim. When no one does, he finds himself always carrying the photo in his pocket
where it becomes his lucky charm.
When he returns to his home in Colorado, he embarks on a cross-country journey
to find the woman in the picture. He finally meets her in North Carolina, but Logan
keeps the story of the photo a secret. Logan and Elizabeth fall in love, but his
secret will soon tear them apart - destroying not only their love, but also their lives.
