There is today a veritable epidemic of Alzheimer’s---a new name for what used to
be called “senility.”  All of them, sooner or later, will need special, painstaking
care.  Mary Ellen Geist, realizing this, gave up her job as an award winning
broadcast journalist and returned to her childhood home to assist her mother in
caring for her father.

She chose to live her life by what was for her a different set of priorities: she
chose to be guided by her heart.

Measure of the Heart is a source of inspiration and help for the millions of
caregivers in America today.
